WARSAW — Edgewood Middle School and Warsaw Community Schools, along with the Warsaw community, are once again coming together for the Together We Feed Them All Christmas Food Drive.

The annual initiative was founded by JoElla Hauselman, Edgewood Middle School Principal.

Partnering with Kearstin Criswell of LovEd, this year’s campaign aims to provide food for 400 families in need during Christmas Break.

For many local families, the holidays can bring stress rather than celebration. When schools close for winter break, students who rely on daily school meals often face food insecurity. The Together We Feed Them All initiative ensures that no child goes hungry and that every family has the chance to share a warm meal around the table.

“Our goal is simple,” said Hauselman. “We want every family to feel cared for and seen. No one should have to worry about how they’ll feed their children over the holidays. Together, we can make a real difference.”

The public and local businesses are encouraged to participate.

Monetary donations will go directly toward purchasing vouchers and completing meal boxes. Checks can be made payable to Edgewood Middle School with TWFTA on the memo line, or online donations can be made at www.warsawschools.org/donate before December 15, 2025.

WCS is also welcoming donations of canned pasta meals and canned soups, which are two essential items for the family boxes. Donations should be dropped off at Edgewood Middle School by Nov. 21 in time for students to prepare boxes for the holidays.

Criswell, whose organization partners churches with schools to provide tangible resources for families, says the project captures what LovEd stands for: love in action. When we show up for one another, especially during the holidays, we build a stronger, kinder community.”

Last year, Together We Feed Them All reached 350 families, thanks to overwhelming support from students, staff, and local organizations. With this year’s goal expanded to 400 families, Hauselman and Criswell hope to see even more people join the effort.
