WARSAW — The Kosciusko County Fair Queen Committee has announced Graycee Sands as the 2025 Miss Kosciusko County Fair Queen.
The selection comes after organizers scraped plans for a traditional selection of a fair queen because of a lack of contestants.
This year’s selection process focused on the scholarship-based components of the program, including a formal interview, prepared speech, and submitted resume. These areas, which are the most heavily weighted in the judging criteria, reflect the leadership, communication skills, and professionalism that define the Fair Queen role, organizers announced in a post of the Fairgrounds Facebook page.
Although the traditional onstage competition was not held this year, Graycee demonstrated confidence, poise, and a strong ability to serve as a representative of Kosciusko County. She will act as an ambassador for the fair and will participate in both the Indiana State Fair Queen Contest and the Indiana State Festival Association Pageant.
Sands is a senior at Purdue University, majoring in Nutrition, Fitness, and Health. She hopes to build a career in medical device sales and is a former member of the Purdue Cheer Team.
She is no stranger to the Kosciusko County Fair, having held a variety of titles over the years, including Miss Preschool, Little Miss, and Junior Miss Kosciusko. She also spent ten years in 4-H showing swine, chickens, and dairy calf feeder steers. From walking the barns to walking across the stage, Graycee has grown up at the fair, and we are proud to see her carry that tradition forward as this year’s Fair Queen.
The fair kicks off on Sunday, July 6, with the annual parade in Warsaw.
