Former Pierceton Town Council president Jerry Kreger passes away

PIERCETON — Jerry F. Kreger, a community leader and lifetime resident of Pierceton, passed away in his home on Wednesday.
He was 66.
He served as a volunteer fireman with the Pierceton Fire Dept. for almost thirty years and was a Town Council member for 16 years. He also served as clerk-treasurer from 2016 to 2020.
He coached the Warsaw Little Tigers Football for many years and was heavily involved in Shrine and Masonic clubs.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2-6 p.m. at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw. A masonic service will be conducted before the funeral service.
A private burial will be held at Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton.
