WARSAW — The National Weather Service predicts breezy and warm conditions that could result in a high temperature of 73, which would be one degree short of the all-time high for this day in both Fort Wayne and South Bend.

Mark Steinwedel, a meteorologist for the National Weather Service in North Webster, said if lingering cloud cover breaks up this afternoon, increased sunshine could open the door for a new record.

While rain and cooler temps are expected after today, Steinwedel said the 7-10 day forecast suggests another chance of above-average temperatures.

Here is this morning’s updated forecast from the National Weather Service.
