News Release
WARSAW — CASA of Kosciusko County has named Brooke Hamstra as its new executive director.
Hamstra brings extensive experience in executive leadership, operations, strategic planning, financial oversight, team development and community engagement to the organization.
In her new role, Hamstra will lead CASA’s staff and work closely with its Board of Directors, volunteers, donors and community partners to strengthen advocacy for children in the Kosciusko County Courts System who have experienced abuse or neglect.
“I am deeply honored to join CASA of Kosciusko County and help advance a mission that is so important to children and families in our community,” Hamstra said.
“CASA’s staff, volunteers, board members, donors and supporters have built an organization our community can be proud of. I look forward to listening, learning and working alongside them to ensure every child who needs an advocate has a consistent, caring voice.”
Hamstra brings more than 20 years of professional experience spanning the corporate and nonprofit sectors.
Most recently, she served as Chief Operating Officer of Helvey & Associates, where she helped guide companywide operations,
strategic initiatives, staff development, client relationships and organizational change.
She is also President of the Warsaw Breakfast Optimist Club.
Her work has focused on strengthening membership, supporting youth-centered programs, awarding community grants and scholarships, and bringing people together in service to Kosciusko County.
Hamstra succeeds Erin Rowland Jones, who led CASA of Kosciusko County for six years and helped strengthen and grow the organization’s capacity to serve local children. Hamstra began her role on July 20, and will work with Erin during the leadership transition.
