News Release

WARSAW — Reconstruction of Anchorage Road in Warsaw will begin in earnest today with the first of many partial road closings that will continue into the fall.

The project will stretch from US 30 to SR 15.

The first segment to close will be from the railroad track to the east side of Kimal Drive.

Area residents and businesses have been given detailed instructions on how to access all nearby properties.

Residents in the closed area will have access to their homes at all times from the east and US 30.

Trash and recycling routes will remain on their normal scheduled days.  Trash pickup may occur earlier than normal, so all cans should be placed at the curb no later than 7 a.m. on trash and recycle pick-up days.

A representative from the contractor, Structurepoint, will contact these residents in the coming days.

Unless visiting a business or residence on Anchorage Road, all motorists should use State Road 15 and US 30 to detour the closure.

Reconstruction will result in an additional third lane, sidewalks and improved utilities.

The project is anticipated to conclude in late fall.
