Driver killed in Marshall County collision

PLYMOUTH — A 46-year-old man died after a crash involving a semi in Marshall County on Tuesday morning.

The crash happened around 11:45 a.m. at the intersection of State Road 17 and State Road 8 south of Plymouth.

According to the Marshall County Coroner’s Office, Michael Vebert of Fort Wayne was heading east on State Road 8 in a Mercury Sable when he entered the path of a semi heading south on State Road 17.

Vebert died at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
