Cement entryway at Kosciusko Justice Building collapses

WARSAW — A cement entrance to the Kosciusko County Justice Building collapsed, sending a large amount of debris slamming onto the sidewalk Friday afternoon.

The collapse was reported to the Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory around 12:30 p.m.

No injuries were reported.

All courts and offices inside the building were closed, according to a post on the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page..

Due to damage sustained on the northeast side of the Justice Building, all courts and offices inside the building will be closed for the remainder of the afternoon and will
Offices will reopen on Tuesday, September 2.
This closure includes the Prosecutor’s Office, Clerk’s Office, Probation Office, Community Corrections, and Public Defender’s Office.
